Create and configure the chatbot.

  1. 01

    Register your website

As an owner or administrator, open Settings → Integrations → Website chatbot. Create a chatbot and register each exact HTTPS origin, including www when used. Origins contain no page paths.

  2. 02

    Choose content and display rules

Set the title, greeting, contact and consent wording. Choose automatic opening, device visibility and excluded page paths under Display.

  3. 03

    Publish your appearance

Under Appearance, select a saved style or create one. Import logo/color suggestions or edit manually, save the draft, review the real-widget preview and Publish style. Choose it as the default if desired.

  4. 04

    Connect workflows

For AI conversations, choose a published website-compatible conversation workflow. For contact capture, publish a Chatbot contact submitted workflow with Create / update lead and the standard event.payload mappings.

Paste the generated script before </body>.

Copy the exact snippet from Install in your CRM environment. This example uses the production API origin. The public key identifies the chatbot; no API secret, access token or user identity belongs in this snippet.

Basic installation
<script async src="https://crm-api.peopletide.com/api/v1/public/web-forms/chatbot.js" data-public-key="YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY"></script>

Verify as a visitor.

  • Open an allowed page in a fresh browser tab and check the launcher and configured greeting delay.
  • Try an excluded page and a narrow mobile viewport.
  • Send a controlled enquiry with consent and check Captured enquiries and the workflow result. A submission receipt alone does not create a CRM lead.
  • Default spam protection works automatically; optional Turnstile loads when verification is needed.
  • A visitor closing or completing the widget suppresses automatic reopening for that tab session; the launcher still opens it manually.

Customize and integrate.
